YOUR PERSONAL WARDROBE

You’re welcome to wear anything you love for your shoot—and nude looks are also an option if that’s your style.

You can find beautiful pieces at a range of price points on Amazon, La Senza, Victoria’s Secret, Shein, or invest in elevated lingerie from Honey Birdette or Agent Provocateur.

Choose outfits that fit smoothly and comfortably.

If something digs, pinches, or leaves marks, it’s better to try another style.

For fuller busts, supportive bras (underwire or molded cups) photograph best.

Posture Tip: When trying outfits on, stand tall and relaxed. Hunching changes how clothing sits on the body, and posture makes a dramatic difference in how pieces will photograph.

Shoes: We don’t typically use shoes for most sets, but we do carry simple white, black, red, and nude heels if you need them.

If you’d like something specific, feel free to bring your own—just make sure the soles are clean before arriving.

THE STUDIO WARDROBE

We offer a curated selection of lingerie pieces and gowns for you to use during your session.

Every item is professionally cleaned after each use, which is why we ask for your selections 2–3 weeks before your shoot.

Sizing can vary across different body types, so we may ask you to bring a few backup options for each look—especially if you need more chest support, as most of our studio pieces do not include built-in cups.

Please note: MOST studio lingerie does NOT include underwear. You’ll need to bring your own.

If you plan to use studio lingerie, please bring:

1 Black lace panty or thong

1 Black G-string (no lace)

1 White lace panty or thong

1 White G-string (no lace)

1 Nude G-string (no lace)

If you plan to wear any studio dresses, please bring:

1 Nude strapless push-up bra (must be strapless, not lace)

1 Black strapless push-up bra (must be strapless, not lace)

MAKE-UP

Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face unless you have allergies or plan to do your own makeup. If you’ll be doing your own, let us know in advance. Our artists work best on a fresh canvas and cannot provide touch-ups over existing makeup.

Before your session, please find one inspiration photo for hair and one for makeup on Google or Pinterest and email them to us 2 weeks before your shoot. This helps us understand whether you prefer a soft, natural look or something more dramatic.

If you have any allergies or sensitivities, please let us know ahead of time.

HAIR PRODUCTS & CARE

Please let your hairstylist know if you prefer certain products to be avoided or if you have any allergies.

If your hair is oily, wash it the morning of your shoot and avoid using products (unless your curls require them).

Please arrive with dry hair only, never wet.

AFRO / COARSE / TIGHT CURLS:
All curls are unique. If you have a routine that works for you, please complete it before arriving so your curls are set in the texture you prefer. The stylist will create looks from your base style.

If you don’t have a routine, we will style your curls for you, just ensure your hair is clean, hydrated, and dry.

----

STRAIGHT / WAVY / SHORT / FINE HAIR:
Come with clean, dry, natural hair.

----

EXTENSIONS / WEAVES / WIGS:
Please arrive with your extensions, weave, or wig already applied.

SKIN & MOVEMENT

Please moisturize your face and body before arriving. Hydration, rest, and smooth skin make a visible difference in your photos, and we cannot retouch dry hands, elbows, or feet.

PRO TIP: Do a light yoga or stretching session the morning of your shoot. It helps you feel relaxed, flexible, and confident—and your session will feel like a fun little workout.

GROOMING & TANNING

GROOMING

Wax or shave at least 24 hours before your session. Please groom your bikini area, brows, and any facial or body hair to your preference. We CANNOT Photoshop hair removal.

Avoid trying new methods right before your shoot, since irritation can appear on camera.

Hands and feet should be free of chipped polish.

TANNING

If you want a spray tan, test it well in advance to find a shade you love.

Please note: spray tans rub off on fabrics, and we cannot shoot on linens once you’ve tanned, even if the product claims transfer-free.

We also cannot fully remove tan lines in editing.

For the best results, we recommend skipping heavy tanning before your session.

SAME DAY IMAGE VIEWING

View Collections & Products

After your shoot, we’ll take a short break (30-60 mins) before your same-day Viewing & Ordering Appointment (60 mins). This is when you’ll see all your images and choose the ones you’d like to purchase.

Because your images are created for this appointment only, any photos not purchased are permanently deleted the moment you leave the studio. This ensures your privacy and allows us to begin retouching your chosen images right away.

Only the images you purchase will move into professional retouching.
